Closure of North Beach Parking Lot For Construction of Lakefront Development Announced by City of Lake Charles
Lake Charles, Louisiana – The City of Lake Charles has recently announced that a significant portion of the North Beach Parking Lot will be temporarily closed in light of capital projects undertaken by contractors. These developments aim to improve drainage and parking facilities in the area while also constructing a pier. To ensure the safety of motorists, a temporary exit has been put in place in the meantime.
It is anticipated that the construction of the parking lot and pier will be finished by the end of 2023, subject to weather conditions. The pier is expected to provide access to various lakefront developments planned for both North Beach and the north shore of the lake. These projects include previously announced initiatives from Lake Area Adventures and Crying Eagle.
