City of Sulphur Rescinds Water Conservation Order Issued May 18th

On May 25, 2022, the City of Sulphur announced that due to rainfall, they are rescinding the mandatory water conservation issued on May 18th, 2022.

On May 18, 2022, the City of Sulphur announced that due to mechanical issues at the Verdine Water Plant, they are asking residents to conserve water until further notice. The city indicated that water conservation is critical for their systems to rebuild and maintain pressure in order to avoid issuing a boil advisory.
Citizens will be notified when the Mandatory Water Conservation Order is lifted.
