Can Reusing Plastic Help Save Louisiana Roads, Coastline, and Low Lying Areas?

While there have been many jokes made about the bill to limit plastic straws in California, there is no doubt that plastic littering our beaches and waterways is an issue.

Some of the ideas shared in this video included methods to make roads, boats, and even bricks from used plastic. What do you think about perhaps using the bricks to help protect our coastline or to help stop low-lying areas from flooding? What about using recycled plastic to make roads in Louisiana?
