Calcasieu Parish Welcomes Students Back as Schools Reopen Post Weather Concerns

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - At 5 am, the Calcasieu Parish School Board announced that today, Thursday, January 25, all CPSB schools and facilities will be open and operate as usual.

The School Board indicated that the amount of rainfall received overnight was less than expected, and based on this, they believe it is safe to open schools and facilities in Calcasieu Parish.

They are grateful for your patience and understanding during this weather situation, and they are excited to welcome back their students, teachers, and staff this morning.
