Iowa, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for Interstate 10 Westbound in Calcasieu Parish. The closure will affect the left lane of the interstate between Mile Marker 47 and Mile Marker 44 near Iowa, Louisiana.

Starting from Tuesday, April 9, 2024, through Thursday, April 11, 2024, the closure will be in effect nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. This measure is essential as it allows crews to securely install temporary concrete barriers onto the existing asphalt pavement.
