Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Searching for Armed Robbery Suspects

From CPSO – On December 6, 2019, at approximately 2 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a casino on Highway 397 in Lake Charles in reference to an armed robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed three suspects entered the casino, one of which was armed with a handgun. Once inside two of the suspects physically assaulted the security guard and disarmed him. While the two suspects continued to assault the security guard the third suspect robbed the cashier at gunpoint. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash along with the security guard’s firearm and fled the scene.
The suspect armed with the gun is described as approximately 6’3” in height wearing a gray hooded jacket with a pocket on the top left side with a black zipper, jeans, and light-colored shoes. The second suspect is described as approximately 6’3” in height with a stocky build wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The third suspect is described as shorter in stature with all black clothing and a dark-colored backpack. He is also described as having patchy facial hair and a short hairstyle.

The security guard was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
