Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigating April 14 Hit & Run in Lake Charles

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run that occurred on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on East Savanna Lane in Lake Charles.
During the initial investigation, detectives learned the vehicle went off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a palm tree along with a street sign. The vehicle, described as a newer model Ford Flex, white in color, will have damage to the area near the front bumper.
CPSO is asking anyone who can identify the SUV seen in this video, or anyone with information about this case, to contact the lead investigator, Sr. Cpl. Casey Steech at 491-3605 and reference complaint number 20-48456.
