From Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office – On September 26, 2019, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a care facility in Lake Charles regarding unauthorized transactions from the business’s account. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the complainant who stated they conducted a monthly audit of the facilities bank account and learned between September 9 – 20 there was over $10,000 of unauthorized transactions.
During further investigation detectives obtained a transaction summary and learned some of the charges were made from PayPal and Facebook with an account name of Lamikaa D.
