Lake Charles, Louisiana – A 22-year-old Lake Charles man has been arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Micah I. Ford, 22, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was taken into custody by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday, November 8, after deputies responded to a home on Red Tailed Hawk Drive in reference to an investigation regarding two missing 14-year-old girls.

According to authorities, the two teenagers had been reported missing the previous day, and a cell phone belonging to one of the girls was tracked to the residence on Red Tailed Hawk Drive. Deputies made contact with Ford, who confirmed that the two girls were hiding inside his residence.

Further investigation revealed that Ford had engaged in inappropriate behavior with one of the minors. He allegedly kissed one of the girls and sent a sexually explicit video to her. As a result, Ford was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Judge Tony Fazzio has set Ford’s bond at $105,000. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident, with Detective Clay Planchard serving as the lead investigator on the case.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
