Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office has introduced new methods for depositing funds into inmate accounts, replacing previous deposit options. These changes aim to simplify the process and provide more convenient options for families and friends of inmates.

According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, there are now three ways to deposit funds into an inmate's account. The first option is through on-site kiosks located in the lobbies of the Calcasieu Correctional Center and the Calcasieu Sheriff's Prison. These kiosks accept debit/credit cards or cash and provide step-by-step instructions through a touch-screen interface. Deposits made through the kiosks will be credited to the inmate's account within 24 hours.

For those unable to visit the facilities in person, online deposits can be made using a credit/debit card through the website www.gtlfsonlinepay.com/portal. This option also promises to credit the inmate's account within 24 hours.

A third option is available for those who prefer to make deposits over the phone. By calling the toll-free number 866-232-1899, individuals can use their credit/debit card to add funds to an inmate's account.

CPSO also noted that previous deposit methods are no longer available, and individuals should use one of the new methods to ensure timely and efficient deposits. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office encourages families and friends to review the updated methods and take advantage of these options.
