Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – As the new school year approaches, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced significant changes to the way families receive information about their child’s transportation. Parents and guardians of students who will be riding the bus this year are advised to update their child’s transportation mode in the Student Progress Center (SPC) to ensure they receive accurate information about their child’s bus route.

Once this information is updated, families can visit this website to access bus route information as well as pick-up and drop-off times. Bus transportation will only be provided to and from the child’s home address, and in most cases, students who live within a one-mile radius of the school will not be eligible for bus transportation due to state law.

Families who encounter any issues with the new system are encouraged to reach out to the Calcasieu Parish School Board via email at [email protected] for assistance.
