UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish Schools Closed February 19.
The Calcasieu Parish School Board has announced that all schools and facilities in the parish will be closed Thursday, February 18, 2021.
From CPSB – All Calcasieu Parish School Board schools and facilities will be closed Thursday, February 18. Due to busted pipes, little or no water pressure, and heating issues across the parish, we are unable to open our school buildings to students, faculty, and staff. We feel this is the best decision for the overall safety of everyone. We do plan to open all schools and facilities on Friday, February 19.
