Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - The Calcasieu Parish School Board is working to establish new security measures after their security provider, Stratigos Dynamics Inc. (SDI), announced its bankruptcy on January 3. The unexpected announcement, delivered through a notice to clients without prior warning, affects 38 campuses across the parish.

SDI, which has provided security services to the district for several years, made the announcement during afternoon hours, leaving school administrators to quickly develop contingency plans. The sudden nature of the bankruptcy filing has created an immediate need for alternative security solutions across the affected schools.

"The safety of our students and staff remains our priority," stated district officials, who are now tasked with finding replacement security services while maintaining current safety protocols. The school board has already initiated communication with administrative teams to ensure a coordinated response to the situation.

While specific details about replacement security measures have not yet been announced, officials confirm they are actively working to establish new security arrangements.

The school board has indicated that updates will be provided to families as new security arrangements are finalized.
