Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - Calcasieu Parish residents are being asked to share their thoughts on the parish's transportation network by participating in a survey that will help update the Calcasieu Parish Master Transportation Thoroughfare Plan (MTTP). The survey, which is being conducted by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's Division of Engineering and Public Works, aims to gather feedback on traffic concerns in unincorporated areas of the parish.
The MTTP, which was adopted in 2006 and last updated in 2011, provides a long-term vision for parish-wide transportation improvement, focusing on roadways, freight, non-motorized transport, and safety. The survey, which can be completed online at calcasieu.gov/transportationsurvey, includes questions on transportation conditions that impact residents, as well as parish transportation challenges, goals, and ideas for the future.
