This satellite office will be open for the duration of the I-210 Bridge construction, which is expected to last about a year. While this office is open, the Post Oak Pavilion will not be available to the public for rental purposes.
The following departments will have employees at this satellite office in Sulphur:
Department of Planning and Development: Employees will be at the satellite office to issue permits from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Office of Juvenile Justice Services: Juvenile probation officers will be able to meet with residents by appointment only.
Judd Bares, Police Jury President said the following “The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is very aware of how inconvenient the bridge repairs will be for our residents. All of the jurors, along with staff, have been very engaged in trying to head off any issues that may prevent us from providing the services that people depend on day-to-day. We feel that this satellite office will keep things moving along for everyone during the bridge repairs.”
