Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's Housing Department is set to accept applications for the Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list on October 30. The first 500 applicants will be accepted from 8 a.m. to noon at the Allen P. August Multipurpose Annex, 2000 Moeling Street, Lake Charles.
The Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher Program, administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides rental assistance to eligible low-income families.
