Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Hosts Community Impact Meeting: Learn About Local Services

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's Human Services Department is set to host its annual Community Impact Meeting on Thursday, March 13, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event will take place at the Lake Charles Event Center's Contraband Room, located at 900 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Charles.

This gathering offers local residents the chance to learn more about the services provided by the Human Services Department. Attendees will also gain insights into the collaboration between the department and essential community resources, including the American Job Center and the Workforce Development Board.

The mission of the Human Services Department is to implement and deliver a variety of services tailored to meet community needs. The department focuses on economic empowerment and aims to educate residents while strengthening partnerships within the community.

"The event is a great way to bring attention to the vital resources and services available to the citizens within our community," stated Erika Garrison, the assistant director of Human Services.
