Motorists traveling southbound on Westwood Road are advised to take an alternative route by diverting east onto West Wayside Drive, then proceeding south on Davis Road until reaching Landry Road. For those heading north on Westwood Road, the recommended detour involves turning east on Goss Road, followed by a northbound journey on Cox Road, and finally heading east on Landry Road.

For those traveling west on Landry Road, the detour path entails a southward turn onto Cox Road, then continuing west on Goss Road until reaching Westwood Road.
