Calcasieu Parish Jury Finds Man Guilty of Attacking 5 Women in 2016

From the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office – Eric Lafleur, 42, was found guilty of attacking five women over a three-week span in 2016.
A Calcasieu jury found Lafleur guilty as charged of two counts of first-degree rape, one count of sexual battery, two counts of carjacking, one count of simple robbery and one count of simple burglary. He was also found guilty of one count of third-degree rape, a responsive verdict from another charge of first-degree rape.
Assistant District Attorney Charles Robinson and Felony Chief Jacob Johnson prosecuted the case for the State.
