Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - In response to the current high winds and dry conditions, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has implemented a burn ban across the entire parish.

The announcement, officially made by Police Jury President Anthony Bartie, outlines a strict prohibition on all forms of outdoor private burning within Calcasieu Parish. However, it is important to note that prescribed burns are exempt from this ban.
