Calcasieu Parish DA’s Office Closed to Observe All Saints’ Day

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office has announced that it will be closed on November 1st, in observance of All Saints’ Day. This closure will allow employees to take part in the traditional holiday, which is typically celebrated on November 1st.

All Saints’ Day is a Christian holiday that honors saints and martyrs. It is traditionally observed by attending church services and visiting cemeteries to pay respects to deceased loved ones. The holiday is often followed by All Souls’ Day on November 2nd, which is a day to remember and honor the deceased.
