Starks, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that occurred on August 21 at a store located on Highway 12 in Starks, Louisiana.
According to the initial investigation, the driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) backed into a parked truck, causing damage to both vehicles. However, instead of stopping to report the incident and exchange information, the driver fled the scene.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives have been working to identify the suspect, but so far, their efforts have been unsuccessful. In an attempt to gather more information, the authorities are releasing a photograph of the driver, taken at the scene of the incident.

The authorities are counting on the public’s help to bring the driver to justice and to provide closure for the owner of the damaged truck.
