Burn Ban Issued October 13 in Calcasieu Parish Has Been Lifted

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – On November 7, 2022, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced that the burn ban issued on October 13 has been lifted for all of Calcasieu Parish.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, as well as several other agencies in the state previously issued burn bans due to lack of rain and severe drought conditions.

Residents are still asked to use caution when doing any outdoor burning.
