Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office Felony Arrests for the Week of July 10, 2023, – July 16, 2023

Beauregard Parish, Louisiana – On July 10, 2023, Beauregard Parish Sheriff Mark Herford reported that the following felony arrests were made for the week of July 10, 2023, – July 16, 2023.

All persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

On July 12, 2023, Harold Phillips was arrested by Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with Obstruction of Justice, Resisting an Officer, Possession of CDS Schedule II, Driver Must be Licensed, and No Seat Belt. Harold was booked into the BPSO jail with bond set at $57,000.00.

On July 13, 2023, Romelzy Strother was arrested by Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with Contraband Relative to Penal Institutions. Romelzy was booked into the BPSO jail with bond set at $5,000.00.

On July 14, 2023, April Birdwell was arrested by Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and charged with Possession of CDS Schedule II and Use or Possess to Use Drug Paraphernalia. April was booked into the BPSO jail with bond set at $4,500.00.

On July 14, 2023, Ross Ramsey was arrested by the Narcotics Task Force and charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms, Possession of Weapon While in Possession of CDS, Possession of Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies, Possession of CDS Schedule II Second or Subsequent Offense, Use of Possess to Use Drug Paraphernalia, and Reckless Operation of a Vehicle. Ross was booked into the BPSO jail with bond set at $176,500.00.
