Be Moore Fest Returns to Lake Charles to Honor Brian Moore and Support Local Musicians

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Fourth Annual Be Moore Fest is scheduled for March 22, 2025, in the Downtown Entertainment District in Lake Charles, Louisiana promising a day filled with music, community, and celebration of local talent. The annual festival honors the legacy of Brian Moore, a local music legend whose impact on the arts and encouragement of aspiring musicians continues to resonate within the community.

Be Moore Fest will take place in various venues along Broad and Ryan streets, including Buffi’s Peaux Boys, Bux Corner Market, The Emporium, Luna Bar & Grill, Panorama Music House, Stellar Beans, and Tia Juanita’s. The festival will feature a diverse lineup of local and regional musical artists, including the Sulphur High School Jazz Band and Show Choir, Barbe High School Show Choir, Young Band Nation, The Throwbacks, Jay Ecker Trio, Cadillac Possum, Tim Norris, Lost Riders, Loaded 44rz, Snydley Whiplash, Air Junkies, and many more.

The event is designed to be family-friendly, welcoming attendees of all ages until 9 p.m. The festivities continue after 9 p.m., but many of the venues will be 18 and up after that time. Proceeds from the festival will support Music Makers 2 U, a local non-profit organization that provides musical instruments to children. Additionally, a scholarship fund will benefit a deserving music student at Sulphur High School, the alma mater of Brian Moore.

Sponsorships and donations are currently being solicited to help fund this initiative, which aims to foster a love for music within the community. Commemorative shirts and merchandise will also be available for purchase during the event.
