Baton Rouge Man Arrested by Louisiana State Police and Charged with 11 Drug-Related Crimes

During the early morning hours of March 11, 2020, Troopers with Troop N responded to a call for service regarding a subject armed with a firearm and selling drugs on the corner of St. Bernard Avenue at North Rampart Street. After quickly arriving on scene, Troopers located the subject and his vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 35-year-old Kenneth Green of Baton Rouge.
Upon furthering the investigation Troopers located thefollowing items inside Green’s vehicle:
- Black Tar Heroin – 81 grams
- Several hundred dosage units of suspected Oxycodone
- Over 30 dosage units of suspected Adderall
- Crack Cocaine – 125.8 grams
- MDMA or Ecstacy – Several hundred tablets
- Marijuana – 69.3 grams
- Methamphetamines – 11.7 grams
- Drug Paraphernalia in the form of clear plastic bags
containing syringes with vials of Naxolone, multiple digital
scales, bags of “Easy Touch” U-100 Insulin syringes
containing 10 syringes, clear plastic bags containing 3
aluminum caps, 1 rubber tourniquet, 10 alcohol swabs, 1
clear bag of cotton balls and 2 sterile waters - Glock 26, 9mm semi-automatic pistol with (10) live rounds of
9mm ammunition - Jennings .22 semi-automatic pistol
- Glock 22, .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol (confirmed stolen
out of East Baton Rouge Parish (2) extended magazines
loaded with 26 rounds each of .40 caliber ammunition - One additional magazine loaded with 15 rounds of .40
caliber ammunition - Over $4,000.00 in U.S. currency
Green was transported to the Orleans Justice Center where he was booked with the following charges:
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute
Methamphetamines
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute Adderall
• Illegal Possession with Intent to Distribute -Cocaine
• Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription –
Naxolone
• Prohibited Acts – Drug Paraphernalia
• Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm
• Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of a Controlled
Dangerous Substance.
