Baton Rouge Authorities Investigating May 26 Homicide Asking For Assistance Identifying Suspect

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Authorities in Baton Rouge are investigating a homicide that occurred on May 26 and are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect.

On May 27, 2023, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported that Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of Robert Lee Lavallias Jr, 29 that occurred in the 4100 block of West Brookstown Dr around 11:55 pm on May 26.

Authorities indicated that Lavallias died at the scene. The motive and suspect are unknown at this time.
