Lake Charles, Louisiana - At approximately 4 pm on January 15, 2023, a crash was reported on I-10 westbound near the top of the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge. At the time this was published, traffic was stopped on I-10 westbound and backed up into Lake Charles. Traffic was also blocked in the (left) inside lane of I-10 eastbound near the top of the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and avoid driving using this route if possible.
