Authorities Suspect Homicide After Body Found in Louisiana on LA 1 North
Rapides Parish, Louisiana – Authorities suspect homicide after a body was found in Louisiana on LA 1 North.

Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) reported on April 20, 2023, that patrol deputies responded to the 7000 block of LA Highway 1 North in regard to a deceased person.
According to preliminary reports, mowing staff from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) discovered the body at 10:36 a.m.
Authorities blocked the road in the vicinity while Sheriff’s Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit performed their investigation. According to detectives, the evidence gathered at the scene indicates that this is a homicide.
