Authorities Searching for Identity of April 2 Sulphur Hit & Run Suspect
Sulphur, LA – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on May 5, 2022, that they are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m. in a parking lot on South Cities Service Highway in Sulphur. During the investigation, it was discovered that the truck was pulling out of a parking space when it collided with the car parked next to it. The truck, a gray Dodge Ram 3500 dually, was last seen driving north on Highway 108 in Sulphur.
Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking anyone who can identify the truck or suspect in the video to contact the lead investigator, Detective Jordan Trahan, at 491-3605.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
