Authorities in Louisiana Seeking Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash in Shreveport

Shreveport, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are seeking a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Shreveport.

The Shreveport Police Department has reported that on May 24, 2023, a hit-and-run incident occurred at a business located at the intersection of Mansfield Road and Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident involved a champagne-colored Chevy pickup that hit a parked Hyundai Elantra, and the suspect fled the scene without stopping to provide assistance or exchange information.

The Shreveport Police Department is now seeking the community’s help in identifying the suspect and has released surveillance footage in hopes of obtaining leads.

The police have responded to the scene and are actively investigating the incident, but indicated that they are in need of additional information to identify the suspect.

The Shreveport Police Department Crash Investigations Unit was able to locate surveillance video of the crash and the suspect and has provided an image of the suspect.

Police indicated that they are releasing a photograph of the suspect and asking for the assistance of the community in identifying the person accused.
