Authorities in Louisiana Seeking Information Regarding Fatal Vehicle-Motorcycle Hit-and-Run Crash in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are seeking information regarding a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in Baton Rouge.
On May 15, 2023, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported that Traffic Homicide Investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on May 6, 2023, in the 10500 block of Greenwell Springs Road around 1:00 a.m.
According to reports from police, investigators believe that a dark-colored 2013-2018 Ford Taurus SHO struck and killed a motorcyclist head-on before fleeing the scene. Authorities indicated that there should be damage to the front of the vehicle. The last known direction of travel was westbound on Greenwell Springs Road.
