Authorities in Louisiana Seeking Assistance Locating Suspect in March 6 Attempted Murder in Shreveport
Shreveport, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are seeking assistance locating the suspect in a March 6 attempted murder in Shreveport.
The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported on March 6, 2023, that officers were called to a shooting in the 2600 block of Lindholme Avenue. Officers arrived to find the victim taking his children to the bus stop when he was approached by a man who shot him many times in the upper body.
Detectives from the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation was launched. A warrant was issued by Shreveport Police Violent Crime investigators for the suspect Boris Williams, 46, on one count of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
Shreveport Police are requesting residents to exercise extreme caution and to inform authorities if they locate Boris Williams. He is thought to be armed and dangerous.
In this case, the victim is currently being treated at a nearby hospital for life-threatening injuries.
