Authorities in Louisiana Searching for Two Suspects in Connection with a March 27 Shooting and Armed Robbery in Ascension Parish

Ascension Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are searching for two suspects in connection with a March 27 shooting and armed robbery in Ascension Parish.

On March 29, 2023, Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre, revealed that detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Violent Crimes Unit are searching for suspects Calvin Adams III of Convent, Louisiana, and Kevin Ross Jr. of Monroe, Louisiana concerning a shooting and armed robbery incident in Darrow, Louisiana.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Galaxy Blvd. and Neptune Blvd. in Darrow, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27. Deputies arrived and discovered multiple shell casings and other indications of a shooting. Detectives took over the investigation and discovered that Ross and Adams reportedly planned and carried out a targeted attack on a male subject. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Authorities indicated that once captured, both men will be charged with Attempted first-degree murder, Illegal use of weapons, Armed Robbery, Armed robbery with a firearm, Second-degree kidnapping, and Criminal street gangs and patterns of criminal street gang activity.
