Authorities in Louisiana Report Train Versus 18-Wheeler Crash on LA Highway 1145 Near US 190
West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana - Authorities in Louisiana reported a train versus 18-wheeler crash on LA Highway 1145 near US 190.
On April 11, 2023, the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a train versus 18-wheeler crash on LA Highway 1145 / Calumet Road near U.S. Highway 190. The crash was originally reported around 12:30 pm and drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
At approximately 2:45 pm the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported that the crash had been cleared and no injuries were reported.
Authorities also made an announcement reminding drivers to not stop on top of a railroad crossing.
