Authorities in Louisiana Locate 69-Year-Old Man Deceased in Boat in Caddo Lake
Caddo Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana located a 69-year-old man deceased in a boat in Caddo Lake.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office stated on April 24, 2023, that late on April 23, deputies were summoned to the north end of the parish on a call of a person found unconscious, halfway out of a boat.
Deputies discovered a 69-year-old man halfway out of his boat and face down in the lake in the 10000 block of Hart McFarland Road on the shore of Caddo Lake shortly before 10 p.m.
According to deputies, the man’s brother discovered him hanging out of the boat. Deputies were told by the man that when his brother did not return from fishing, he went searching for him, which is how he found him.
Caddo Sheriff’s CSI Detectives concluded there was no foul play in this occurrence after conducting a thorough investigation.
