Authorities in Louisiana Investigating June 4 Shooting in Baton Rouge and Asking the Public For Assistance

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are investigating the shooting that occurred on June 4 in Baton Rouge and are asking the public for assistance.

Capital Region Crimestoppers in Louisiana and the Baton Rouge Police Department announced that BRPD is investigating a shooting that occurred on June 4, 2023.

According to reports from BRPD, at approximately 7:26 a.m., Officers responded to Mulberry Street, where a victim was located with injuries he sustained as a result of being shot.

BRPD indicated that detectives are in the early stages of the investigation and details are limited at this time, and no motives or suspects have been developed or determined at the time this was published.
