Authorities in Louisiana Investigating Homicide in Westlake After Man Found Dead Inside His Home
Westlake, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) reported that on January 31, 2023, around midnight, CPSO deputies were dispatched to a home off Westwood Road in Westlake, Louisiana in reference to suspicious circumstances.

When deputies arrived, they discovered Damarcus A. Ardoin, 25, dead inside the residence. The investigation is still ongoing, and no further information can be released at this time. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-491-3605. Authorities indicated that anyone who knowingly withholds information or evidence from law enforcement will face charges.
The cause of death will be determined by the Calcasieu Coroner.
