Authorities in Louisiana Asking For Help Locating Suspects Responsible For Theft of $11k in Chainsaws and Concrete Saws

DeRidder, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help in locating the suspects responsible for the theft of $11,000 worth of chainsaws and concrete saws.

DeRidder Police Department stated on May 17, 2023, that on May 11, two suspects entered a business in DeRidder, Louisiana, and allegedly stole around $11,000 in new Stihl chainsaws and concrete saws. The suspects were wearing gloves and masks that covered a portion of their faces.

According to reports, the suspects appear to be young black males between the ages of 18 and 30, with the first standing about 6′ tall and having an athletic build. The second suspect stands about 5’8″ tall and has an average to thin build.

The suspect vehicle is a silver or gray 2017-2019 Chevy Malibu with darkly tinted windows, and the license plate was covered with a rag. They were seen driving south on Highway 171.
