Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Locating Suspect in March 19 Homicide in Shreveport
Shreveport, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help locating a suspect in a March 19 homicide in Shreveport.
Shreveport Police Department (SPD) revealed on April 6, 2023, that they are seeking public assistance in finding a suspect wanted in connection with a March 19 homicide.
Shreveport Police officers were called to a shooting in the 1500 block of West 59th Street on March 19, 2023, according to authorities. When officers arrived, it was determined that a male victim had died.
Detectives from the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation was launched.
Shreveport Police Violent Crime investigators have obtained a warrant for Tremell Thomas 53, for one count of 2nd Degree Murder.
Shreveport Police are advising residents to exercise extreme caution and to notify them if Thomas is found. He is thought to be armed and dangerous.
