Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Locating Suspect Identified in Connection with Multiple Offenses of Obscenity
Shreveport, Louisiana – Shreveport Police Department revealed on November 16, 2022, that officers were contacted on June 20, 2022, in regard to a report of an obscenity that occurred on June 18th, 2022. Employees at a company in the 2800 block of Jewella Avenue in relation to a suspect who was caught on camera committing obscene acts inside the establishment in full view of the public.
Security footage of the alleged suspect was retrieved by Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Detectives. The footage was made public in the hopes of identifying the offender.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Gradlin Davenport, 30, thanks to the public’s assistance. Detectives were able to identify that Davenport was also the suspect in a similar crime from October 27, 2022, with the help of Patrol officers. This allegedly happened inside a business in the 3100 block of North Market Street, where Davenport allegedly entered and displayed his genitals in a sexually gratifying manner.
Detectives issued two warrants for Davenport’s arrest for the offense of Obscenity.
