Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Locating Suspect After Reportedly Seizing 1 lb of Heroin From His Home During a Search

Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help locating a suspect after reportedly seizing 1 lb of heroin from his home during a search.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on March 22, 2023, that Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s help locating a Houma, Louisiana man wanted on multiple narcotics-related charges stemming from an investigation handled by the Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU).

According to authorities, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office CIU learned of investigative material linking Robert Lee Allen, 34, of Houma, Louisiana to participation in drug-related crimes over the last week. The CIU Division continued to investigate the event with the help of US Homeland Security, the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division, and the Houma Police Department, which resulted in authorities obtaining a search warrant for an address in the 100 block of Blair Drive.

Authorities performed the search warrant at the property on March 20, 2023, where roughly 1 pound of Heroin was seized, despite the fact that Allen was not present at the time. Officials are currently looking for Robert Lee Allen, who is wanted on counts of CDS I (Heroin) Distribution, Possession with Intent to Deliver CDS I (Heroin), Marijuana Possession, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to authorities, Allen is described as a black male, 5’8″ tall, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Allen is known to have a “LEE” tattoo on his right arm, as well as an abnormal left arm.
