Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Locating Suspect After He Allegedly Entered a Home and Injured Two Victims While They Were Sleeping
Shreveport, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help locating a suspect after he allegedly entered a home and injured two victims while they were sleeping.
The Shreveport Police Department reported on April 5, 2023, that on February 19, police were contacted in relation to a report of a home invasion in the 1500 block of Parker Street. The victim stated that the suspect, Jamarcus Jackson, 22, entered their home while she and another female were sleeping. Jackson allegedly then used force on both victims on both victims to harm them. Both individuals were found to have apparent injuries, according to authorities.
When Jackson left the home, the victims said they heard gunshots and their home was damaged by bullet holes. The victim had injuries consistent with the alleged abuse.
Shreveport Police Domestic Violence Detectives began their investigation into this case and discovered that Jackson had previously utilized violence against the victim on many occasions.
Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Jamarcus Jackson for one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Home Invasion, one count of Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, and one count of Illegal Use of a Weapon.
