Authorities in Louisiana Asking For Help Identifying Victim, Suspect, and Vehicle in Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on US 90
Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help identifying the victim, suspect, and vehicle in a deadly hit-and-run crash on US 90.
In the early hours of July 13, 2023, Louisiana State Police Troop C initiated an investigation into a hit-and-run incident on U.S. Highway 90 westbound, situated approximately 2 miles east of the LA Highway 20 Gibson exit. The incident involved a pedestrian who suffered severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at a hospital in New Orleans. The victim’s identity remains unknown.
According to reports, Troopers had been alerted to a male pedestrian walking along the middle of U.S. Hwy 90 westbound. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the victim had been struck by a vehicle and was lying partially in the left lane. The suspect vehicle had fled the scene following the accident.
Tragically, a male pedestrian sustained severe injuries and was subsequently transported to a hospital in the New Orleans area where he died from his injuries.
At the time this was published, law enforcement authorities are seeking information regarding the make, model, and color of the vehicle involved in the crash or the identity of the victim.

So far in 2023, Troop C has investigated a total of 11 fatal crashes, which have resulted in the loss of 13 lives.
