Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Identifying Suspect Who Allegedly Stole Several Cartons of Cigarettes in West Baton Rouge Parish
Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help identifying a suspect who allegedly stole several cartons of cigarettes in West Baton Rouge Parish.
The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office stated on April 18, 2023, that detectives are attempting to identify and find a male suspect who allegedly entered a neighborhood convenience store and took numerous cartons of cigarettes without paying.
According to officials, the man entered the Lobdell Highway convenience store and requested several cartons of cigarettes. He then reportedly grabbed the cigarettes and raced out of the store as he was checking out. He fled the parking area in what is thought to be a Mid-2000 Silver Chevy or Toyota Sedan, possibly with damage to the passenger side rear door, and traveled south on Lobdell Hwy.
Authorities described the suspect as a white male, wearing glasses, a plaid long-sleeve shirt, tan shorts, blue shoes, and an LSU Tigers Baseball Cap

A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
