Authorities in Louisiana Asking For Help Identifying Suspect in May 16 Homicide in Rapides Parish

Rapides Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help in identifying the suspect in a homicide that occurred in Rapides Parish on May 16.

On May 17, 2023, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) reported that during the night of May 16, at approximately 8:40 PM, deputies responded to the Glenmora, Louisiana area in reference to a report of a shooting.

According to authorities, upon arrival, deputies located a gunshot victim who was transported by Acadian Air Med to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased. At the time this was published, detectives indicated that the name of the victim is currently being withheld until all next of kin have been notified.

RPSO, along with the Glenmora Police Department, is conducting this homicide investigation. Detectives are currently processing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
