Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Identifying Driver in Fatal Multi-Vehicle-Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on I-12 in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help identifying the driver in a fatal multi-vehicle-pedestrian hit-and-run crash on I-12 in Baton Rouge.
The Baton Rouge Police Department stated on April 9, 2023, that Traffic Detectives are investigating a deadly crash that happened around 4:49 a.m. on West I-12 near the I-10 split. Ray Dickerson, 26, was walking along the interstate when he was hit by several automobiles.
The first vehicle that struck Dickerson, according to detectives, fled the area before police arrived. Dickerson died at the scene of the crash.
Police indicated that this is an ongoing investigation and are asking anyone with information on this fatal traffic crash is urged to contact the Baton Rouge Police Traffic Division at (225) 389-2000 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
