Authorities in Louisiana Asking For Help From the Public in May 1 Homicide Investigation in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help from the public in their investigation of a homicide that occurred on May 1st in Baton Rouge.

On May 2, 2023, the Baton Rouge Police Homicide reported that detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of Delridge Wilson, 51 that occurred during the morning of May 1 at around 11:00 am at an address in the 100 Block of Taylor St.

According to reports from authorities, Wilson was shot multiple times and transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Baton Rouge Police indicated that the motive and suspect are unknown at this time.
