Authorities in Louisiana Asking For Help From the Public in Identifying Suspect Involved in April 22 Altercation at Bar in Chalmette

St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect involved in an altercation at a bar in Chalmette on April 22.

On April 28, 2023, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff James Pohlmann reported that St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an adult male who was allegedly involved in a physical altercation that occurred around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 outside of a bar in Chalmette, Louisiana in the 800 block of East Street / Bernard Highway.

Authorities are asking that anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of the person in the featured image, or any other information relating to this incident call the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501, the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline at (504) 271-TIPS (8477), or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111.

Authorities indicated that callers to the CIB tip hotline or Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash award from Crimestoppers.

A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
