Authorities in Louisiana Arrest One and Are Seeking Another in Connection with Robbery at an ATM
Lafourche Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana have arrested one person and are searching for another in connection with a robbery at an ATM.
Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said on May 8, 2023, that one man had been apprehended and another was wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Cut Off, Louisiana. Eddie Coleman Jr., 25, of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, has been arrested. Investigators are looking for the second suspect.
The event occurred on West Main Street in Cut Off, Louisiana, at a bank. According to reports, a small car drew up alongside two people while they were walking away from the bank’s ATM. Two masked men allegedly pointed firearms at the two victims and grabbed hundreds of dollars in cash from one of them.
Detectives identified one of the males as Eddie Coleman Jr. and secured an arrest warrant for him after conducting an investigation. Coleman was arrested and booked into Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex in Thibodaux. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery with a firearm. The bail amount is set at $1 million.
The second person engaged in this incident is being sought by detectives.
